To generate academically qualified, professionally skilled and ethically committed citizens to satisfy the Country’s alarming needs for skilled man power.
1. Apply Total Quality Management in the administrative, technical and financial services offered by the university.
2. Increase university revenues and manage its expenditure to achieve financial independence and stability
3. Implement undergraduates and graduate programs that meet labor market needs.
4. Adopt policies and procedures to convert GSU to a “Green” and “Smart” campus
5. Secure funds for basic and applied research projects particularly those serving emerging scientific and technological areas and encouraging innovation, creativity and excellence
6. Achieve national and international accreditation in all programs and academic fields
7. Develop advanced technologies such as Nanotechnology and Nuclear Energy.
