This program trains students to become frontline healthcare providers capable of diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. It includes:

• Clinical rotations in surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, and general medicine
• Training in public health, community outreach, and emergency medicine
• Internship and supervised field practice

General Objectives

The objective of the training is to produce competent Clinical Medicine & Community Health professionals who undertake primitive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services including management and implementation of PHC services compatible to the needs of the population.

Specific Objectives

The Specific objective of the program is to produce competent graduates capable of;

• Assessing community health needs and prioritize identified problems.
• Intervening on the identified health and health related problems of the community.
• Promoting health, preventing and controlling disease.
• Providing curative and rehabilitative health services
• Leading health services and health offices.
