About GMC
GMC health care facility and teaching hospital of GLOBAL SCIENCE UNIVERSITY consists of an outpatient Clinic and a fully-equipped hospital with over 150 beds, 85 fulltime employees and 11 volunteers. Both of the clinic and hospital are situated within a compound of 6000 sq. meters of land.
Outpatient Department
The outpatient department activities include:
- General Health Services
- Prenatal MCH
- Diagnostic Laboratory
- Gynecological and pediatrics visits/consulting
- Hypertension and Diabetic center
- Multi-disciplinary ultrasound center
- Image Diagnosis Radiology
- Trauma – orthopedic clinic
- VCT center
Hospital Wards
The hospital wards and centers include:
- A maternity ward
- A pediatric ward
- Center for Gynecological and Obstetric treatment
- Fistula Referral Center for repair, rehabilitation and reintegration
- Repair Post-FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) compilations & de-infibulations, and counseling centre
- Trauma and orthopedic center
Surgical Capacities
GMC has a surgical theatre which includes:
- Two surgical rooms for routine operations
- One surgical room for emergencies only
- One room for pre/post anesthesia
- One delivery room with Neonatal Reanimation
- One room for sterilization
