A valuable guest lecture was successfully held, featuring Dr. Mohamud Mohamed Aden (Calbito), Senior Gastrointestinal Surgery Consultant at Somali European Hospital and a researcher at Helsinki University Hospital.

Dr. Mohamud delivered an insightful and engaging presentation on Abdominal Wall Hernia, covering its different types, underlying causes, risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and modern treatment options, including both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He also shared practical clinical experiences, highlighted common challenges in surgical management, and emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and evidence-based treatment to improve patient outcomes.
