Home / Posts/ Events News PEDIATRICS OSCE COMPLETION – PROFESSIONAL EXAM WEEK 2025 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 – Faculty of Medicine & Surgery On November 20, 2025, the Professional Examination Week for the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery at Global Science University (GSU) successfully came to an end. Today, the medical students sat for their Pediatrics OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination).The exam consisted of two main components: 🔹 Written Assessment (Image Interpretation Station):Students analyzed clinical images, identified key medical signs, and provided diagnostic reasoning based on pediatric cases. 🔹 Clinical Examination (Practical + Oral):This included hands-on patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and an oral viva where students explained their findings and management plans. The OSCE is designed to evaluate students’ clinical competence, communication skills, diagnostic ability, and professionalism—all essential qualities for future doctors. Home / Posts/ Events News PROFESSIONAL EXAM WEEK, DAY 2 On the second day of the examination period (November 18, 2025), the Professional Exam for the students of the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery at Global Science University (GSU) continued smoothly and in an organized manner. Today, the medical students undertook the OSCE examination for the subject of Internal Medicine. This critical assessment is designed to evaluate the students’ clinical competence, decision-making skills, and ability to apply medical knowledge in real-life scenarios. The exam consisted of two major components: 1. Written Assessment Image interpretation station Case-based analytical questions Evaluation of diagnostic reasoning 2. Clinical Examination Patient examination: assessing clinical skills, physical examination techniques, and patient interaction Oral examination (viva): testing problem-solving, clinical judgment, and understanding of internal medicine concepts Examiners reported that the students demonstrated good professionalism and preparedness throughout the stations. Home / Posts/ Events News PROFESSIONAL EXAM WEEK, DAY 3: Today, the 19th of November 2025, marked the third consecutive day of the ongoing Professional Examination for the students of the Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. The exam continues smoothly and in an organized manner. Today, the students sat for the OSCE examination in the subject of Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBS & GYN).The OSCE was divided into two main components: 1. Written Assessment Image interpretation station Clinical scenario–based questions Structured short answers focusing on diagnosis and management 2. Clinical Examination Patient examination stations Oral viva stations assessing clinical reasoning, communication, and decision-making skills Skill-based procedures related to maternal and reproductive health The university commends the students for their commitment and professionalism throughout the exam period.We wish all students success and pray that Allah makes the remainder of the examination week easy and successful for them.
