Background
This program develops lab professionals who are central to disease diagnosis and research. Students are trained in:
- Hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and parasitology
- Laboratory safety, diagnostics, and quality control
- Practical experience with hospital and private labs
Medical Laboratory Science is the study of the scientific principles underlying the disciplines practiced in diagnostic and medical research laboratories. Medical Laboratory Scientists, also called Clinical Laboratory Scientists or Medical Technologists, use sophisticated instruments and biochemical, microscopic, molecular and immunological techniques to analyze blood, tissues and other medical specimens. In a clinical laboratory, they use their knowledge and skills in science, biotechnology and medicine to provide essential information to physicians and other health care professionals about the presence, extent, or absence of disease, as well as effectiveness of treatment.

- Meet the admission requirement of Global Science University.
- Physically and mentally fit for nursing services.
- 2.Graduation Requirements:
- A student cannot graduate with a grade of less than 2.0 out of the 5-scale grading system.
- Therefore, he/she should at least score a minimum of C grade for the major / Professional course.

PROGRAM DURATION
The overall midwifery program is a five (5) year program. This is split into six hour/day for six days of a week covering both classroom and clinical practice sessions totaling thirty-six hours per week of teaching and practice.
Intake calendar
Global Science University intake starts at Fist August each year and closes at September. Our academic year calendar is split into two semesters with the first semester spanning between September and January. The second semester starts in February and ends in June.
