On May 30, 2026, as the Puntland National Certificate Examinations officially commenced, a dedicated medical team was deployed to examination centers serving secondary school students in Galkayo City.

This humanitarian initiative was jointly organized by Global Science University (GSU) and Galkayo Medical Center (GMC Hospital) as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting students and promoting community well-being. Medical personnel were stationed at examination centers to provide immediate healthcare assistance and emergency support to students throughout the examination period, ensuring a safe and healthy environment conducive to academic success.

This year marks the sixth consecutive year that GSU and GMC Hospital have collaborated to deliver this valuable community service. The program reflects both institutions’ dedication to social responsibility, educational development, and student welfare.

The presence of healthcare professionals at examination venues helps address any health-related concerns that may arise during the examinations, including stress, fatigue, dehydration, or other medical emergencies, allowing students to focus on their performance with confidence and peace of mind.
