Mr. Farhan Yahye Mohamoud

Farhan Yahye is an accomplished program management expert with over 13 years of experience leading high-value humanitarian and health projects funded by major donors, including USAID/BHA, ECHO, SHF, and the Global Fund. He has successfully managed large-scale programs with organizations such as Save the Children and the Red Cross/Crescent, focusing on improving maternal, newborn, and child health services in Somalia and Sudan. Farhan is also skilled in developing and reviewing technical proposals and donor reports, ensuring high-quality and timely submissions that meet international standards.

 

In addition to his program leadership experience, Farhan is highly proficient in stakeholder coordination, budgeting, and performance monitoring. He is pursuing a Doctorate in Healthcare Leadership in the United States, holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Uganda, and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Nursing from Ethiopia. As an innovator, he co-founded the Global Science University in Galkayo to strengthen Somalia’s health workforce and has published research articles on health and nutrition, contributing to evidence-based improvements in healthcare delivery.
